Who this covers
This policy applies to the Neuron Burst app for iPhone and iPad, and to this website. The app and site are operated by GER IT Consultancy, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands.
Data we collect
None. The app asks for no personal information and has no way to send information to us. Specifically, Neuron Burst does not collect:
- names, email addresses or contact details
- account credentials — there are no accounts
- location data
- device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- usage analytics, crash telemetry or behavioural data
- contacts, photos, microphone or camera access
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking software of any kind.
What is stored on your device
To show your best times and your progress over previous rounds, the app saves game results in your device's local browser storage inside the app. This includes the elapsed time for a round, the number of wrong keystrokes, which item was missing, and the date of the round. It also saves your language and sound preferences.
This data never leaves your device. We have no access to it, and it is not backed up to any server we control. Deleting the app removes it.
Network access
The games run entirely offline. The app makes no network requests to load or play a game.
The only exception is that the in-game notes about how each exercise affects attention and memory link to publicly available research articles. If you tap one of those links, your device opens it in your browser and the website you visit will apply its own privacy policy — we have no involvement in and no visibility of that visit.
Purchases
Neuron Burst is a paid app sold through the App Store. Apple handles the purchase, the payment and any refund. We never see your payment details. Apple reports aggregate sales figures to us — totals and country-level summaries, with no information identifying individual buyers. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children. There is no chat, no user-generated content and no social feature.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability over your personal data. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete. You can clear everything the app has stored at any time by deleting the app from your device.
This website
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. The practice round on the home page runs in your browser; nothing about it is recorded or sent anywhere.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
