ColorMem

A color flashes. Can you still see it?

A quick color memory drill for iPhone and iPad that sharpens your eye for color and trains visual working memory. Watch a color appear, then pick it out again from a set of close, tricky shades - every score stays on your device.

Live preview#1

Watch the color above, then see if you can still spot it among five close shades.

What's inside

Four difficulty levels

From Easy, where the wrong colors are clearly different, to Very Hard, where every option sits within a few degrees of hue and a few points of saturation and lightness of the real one.

See the exact values

Turn on color values and every option shows its RGB and HSL numbers underneath - useful for learning how close "close" really is, or just to check your eye against the numbers.

A full game log

A reaction-time chart and a per-game history - rounds, difficulty, accuracy, score - all written to your device and nowhere else.

What you can tune

Two colors or eight

Pick your own crowd

Choose how many shades appear each round. Two is a coin flip to warm up on; eight turns it into a real test of color discrimination.

Longer game, same scale

A score that stays comparable

Your score is normalized against the number of rounds you chose, so a short warm-up and a long session stay comparable side by side.

One tap away
